Chive Olive Oil
INGREDIENTS:
2 bunches of chives
16oz Masseria Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
DIRECTIONS:
- Blanch your chives by putting in boiling water for ten seconds (until they turn a brighter green) and then remove, immediately transferring to a bowl of ice water. This stops the cooking process.
- Add blanched chives to a blender with olive oil and blend for a few pulses. Allow to sit for a few and then strain out solids, putting the clarified oil into an airtight glass container. Refrigerate for up to a week.
Garlic Olive Oil
INGREDIENTS:
6 oz garlic (12+ cloves)16 oz Masseria Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
DIRECTIONS:
- Put clean garlic in a saucepan and cover with oil. Set on a low heat until oil is simmering (about 200F) and leave on the stove for 30-45 minutes. The garlic should turn a deep golden color.
- Remove garlic from oil and pour into an airtight glass container. Refrigerate for up to a week.
